The flat ZL-S 250 central domestic ventilation unit with heat recovery is ideal for controlled ventilation of residential buildings and apartments up to 150 m² as well as meeting and waiting rooms for up to eight people. The design of the central home ventilation system allows horizontal or vertical installation on the wall and also installation on a suspended ceiling. The ZL-S 250 is controlled via a separately ordered control panel. Thanks to efficient constant volume flow controlled EC fans with three fan stages, air volumes can be individually programmed for each stage. The ZL-S 250 central home ventilation system is particularly efficient thanks to heat recovery from the exhaust air with a cross-counterflow heat exchanger with a heat recovery efficiency of up to 90 %. It is equipped as standard with clever functions such as anti-icing protection with automatic defrosting, a comprehensive self-diagnosis system, exhaust air temperature monitoring to protect the residential unit from cooling down in winter and an integrated automatic summer bypass with adjustable switching temperature to interrupt heat recovery in summer. A laptop can be connected to the central home ventilation system via a USB port in order to install the commissioning software and carry out software updates.  The ZL-S 250 Mount mounting device enables installation by just one person: simply hook in the central home ventilation system and fold it up. The EPP housing complies with fire class B1.
