Convenient touch display for all Dimplex heat pumps
All new Dimplex heat pumps are now equipped with a clear touch display as standard. This ensures intuitive operation of the entire system. The display shows the various operating modes, individual time programme settings and the status of the system in plain text. With the Dimplex Home app - in conjunction with a network card and the in-house router - uncomplicated operation is even possible when travelling.
The new Dimplex touch display is used to control the centrepiece of the heat pump, the heat pump manager, on two levels - on a smart level for end customers or users and on a second, more in-depth level for the specialist. At the operating level for the end customer, the operating modes for winter, summer or cooling mode can be monitored or individually set or automatically switched depending on the outside temperature.
Whether separately for several floors or for radiators and separate underfloor heating, the specialist can easily programme up to three heating and cooling circuits with different temperature levels via the Dimplex touch display. For underfloor heating systems, the intelligent Smart RTC room temperature controllers offer the option of individually heating or cooling up to ten rooms.
For radiators, the wireless radiator thermostats from Netatmo allow the temperature of each room to be set individually directly on the radiator or via the app. For greater clarity, each room can also be labelled individually on the display. This means you have a perfect overview of all room temperatures via the app. If the system is technically equipped accordingly, the hot water heating and the Dimplex ventilation system can also be operated via the touch display.
The new operating system impresses with its 4.3-inch colour touch display. Its sophisticated tile design clearly displays all functions. The information is presented in plain text so that even the layman can easily find their way around. And for simplified handling, a touch pen is part of the standard equipment.
For the specialist, the Dimplex touch display also offers the EasyOn guided commissioning, which leads step by step to the correct system configuration. And should a fault occur, it is displayed in plain text.
The new touch display on the Dimplex heat pump harmonises perfectly with the Dimplex Home app, which is available free of charge. It can be used to easily control the heat pump via smartphone or tablet, even when travelling. The operating concept of the app and the touch display on the heat pump are harmonised. Both guide you through all operating steps using the modern tile look. The Dimplex Home app is also used to control and monitor the heat pump status and operating data in real time.
Dimplex also offers a premium version of the Dimplex Home app for specialists - usually installers or heating engineers. This allows the expert to access up to ten systems. The most important device data, the active operating mode and the status of the inputs and outputs are displayed graphically and clearly. The premium version of the Home app also allows a review of the data from the last seven days. And even the heating curve can be set via the app.
The optional Dimplex NWPM Touch network card integrated into the heat pump is used to connect the system directly to the router in the house. This allows data to be received, sent or saved via the Dimplex Cloud. In this way, the system operator or, if desired, the user, installer or service technician can access the system data quickly and securely, even remotely, and provide fast and competent assistance if required.
