Heat pump heats warehouse with office using PV electricity
A warehouse with offices (partly two-storey) was newly built by an electrical installation company with a photovoltaic system on the hall roof. The total area is approx. 1125 m² with 280 m² of office/recreation rooms and 845 m² of warehouse (room height approx. 6 m) and a calculated heating load of 63.7 kW.
Project facts
- New construction of a (partly two-storey) commercial hall for an electrical engineering company
- Year of construction 2022
- Total area 1125 m²
- Two LA 35TBS air/water heat pumps with WPM Touch master controller without hot water preparation and unmixed heating circuit
- Heat distribution panel heating
- PV integration via WPM Touch master, which regulates the control of the heat pump
Requirement
- Climate-friendly, sustainable and cost-effective heat supply
- Efficient utilisation of self-generated PV electricity
- different heating requirements for the various areas of use (office/recreation rooms or storage)
- Eligible overall concept
The solution
Installation and mode of operation
A system solution with two highly efficient Dimplex LA 35TBS heat pumps was quickly found, which immediately impressed with its particularly quiet operation thanks to its flow-optimised, tapered housing.
Control system and connectivity
- Intelligent control via WPM Touch Master, which allows cascading of up to 14 heat pumps
- Four output levels for needs-based utilisation
- Option of remote access and remote monitoring
- SG Ready function of the heat pump enables efficient utilisation of self-generated PV electricity
