As underfloor heating is so popular, Dimplex has of course also developed an electrically powered alternative, as we believe that electric heating will be the heating of the future. Our thin-bed heating mats are mounted on a support mesh and can be laid in tile adhesive or leveling filler. They can also be laid in the bathroom or kitchen thanks to the protective cover for connection to the RCD.
The Smart Climate COMFORT FLOOR underfloor heating is easily integrated into the system via the Smart Climate THERMOSTAT (included in the scope of delivery) and can be controlled both on site and on the move via the SCS app on a smartphone or tablet. The thin-bed heating mats are also available without accessories to expand the existing set.
The Smart Climate System was developed by Dimplex to make heating even more energy and cost-efficient, and completely climate-neutral (when using 100 % green electricity).
Did you know? Even in ancient Rome there was underfloor heating in the houses of wealthy Romans and in thermal baths: under each room there were boiler rooms with wood fires to keep the floors warm.
